A Painful Loss for the Lakers

Chad Pennington?
The Los Angeles Lakers were feeling good going into last night's game against the Phoenix Suns.  Having won their previous 3 games, it seemed all but apparent that the Lakers would beat the Suns to make it 4 straight.  As usual with the Los Angeles Lakers this season; expect the unexpected.  After controlling the game for nearly 4 quarters, the Lakers gave up a 13 point lead to lose to the Phoenix Suns 92-86.  This loss kills the Lakers momentum, as they were riding high off of impressive victories against OKC & Utah.  The cherry on top is Dwight Howard re-injuring his increasingly Chad Pennington-like shoulder.  I still believe the Lakers can make the playoffs this year, even without Dwight Howard playing consistently.  However, if the Los Angeles Lakers hope to make it out of the first round of the playoffs, they will need to have a healthy Dwight Howard.
